5th Beautification Award Winner Announced

Mayor Anthony J. Court presented the 5th winner of the “Beautification Awards” to Kevin and Delana Shaffer. “Excellent work and lots of dedication went into this property at 904 Plymouth Lane,” said Mayor Court in an emailed statement. Mayor Court presented the Shaffer’s with a dinner certificate and a yard sign. Mayor Court also state because of the high volume of nominations he has received, he is expanding the awards this year from the usual six to eight. 4th Beautification Award Winner of 2024 Announced

Mayor Anthony J. Court recently awarded the 4th winner of the annual beautification awards to Todd and Lori Streit of 924 Bridge Street. “Beautifully Landscaped and very well maintained,” said Mayor Court in an emailed statement. Todd and Lori was presented with a gift certificate from a local restaurant and a yard sign to display. Nominations are still being taken by Mayor Court by calling him at 724-824-7629 or dropping it off at his office in the Municipal Building. Mayor Anthony J. Court presented Gina Borselli with the 3rd Beautification Award of 2024. “Congratulations Gina on a job well done,” said Mayor Court in a statement. Ready, Set, Spring! Mayor Anthony J. Court will once again be doing the “Beautification Awards Program” for Ellwood City residents. This is the 15th year of this successful program. There will be six winners and each will be awarded a gift certificate from a local restaurant and yard sign to display. Final 2023 Beautification Award Winner Announced

Mayor Anthony J. Court presented the final winner of 2023 Beautification Award to Sue Blythe on Joffre Street. “Sue’s hard work has not gone unnoticed, her yard looks amazing,” said Mayor Court in an emailed statement.
