RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT: New Castle Police had responded to Reckless Endangerment report near Pollock Store Road in Lawrence County on July 25th. Christopher Rodgers, age 40 from Volant fired two rounds from a shotgun at the victim’s residence. Rodgers has been continually creating loud noises and firing fireworks causing a disturbance in the area. The Pennsylvania State Police New Castle Barracks had been called to the area approximately four times within the last ten days and the actor was for summary disorderly conduct and harassment on July 24th for causing loud noises and a disturbance. Wampum Resident Indicted for Producing and Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Material

PITTSBURGH – A resident of Wampum, Pennsylvania, has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on charges of Production of Material Depicting the Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and Possession of Material Depicting the Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan announced today. The three-count Indictment named Thomas Hyatt-Baney, 21, formerly of Wampum, Pennsylvania, as the sole defendant. According to the Indictment, Hyatt-Baney, on or about May 28, 2023, and June 25, 2023, produced visual depictions of the sexual exploitation of a minor. Officer Robert Bird Receives A Commendation For Life Saving Act

Officer Robert Bird received a commendation from Mayor Anthony J. Court for his heroic acts that saved a man’s life. Officer Bird was dispatched to a vehicle that crashed into a residence on Orchard Avenue in Ellwood City last week. Upon arrival he encountered a truck that caught fire. The driver of which was trapped inside suffering from a medical emergency.
