Thomas “Tommy” G. Dovutovich, 72, of Portersville, passed away on October 12th, 2023 at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Thomas was born on May 24th, 1951 in Sharon to Stephen and Anna (Krizanich) Dovutovich. He was a graduate of Brookfield High School class of 1969, he proudly played on their football team. He also played for various local softball teams. He was catholic by faith. After High School, Thomas went on to serve in the United States Air Force. Mr. George H. Creese, Jr., 80, of Fombell passed away on Sunday, October 15th, 2023 at AHN Wexford. Mr. Creese was born in Ellwood City to the late George H. and Jeanette (Rossman) Creese, Sr. on October 18th, 1942. He is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1960. Gloria R. Lowers, 86, of Perry Township passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023 at UPMC Passavant McCandless. Born in Moon Township on March 8, 1937, Gloria was the daughter of the late Orphas and Anna Blanche Hamilton.  She is survived by her husband, Grover F. Lowers whom she married on May 20, 1957.  Gloria was a caregiver, taking care of her mother and several others during the end stages of their lives.  Gloria played the upright bass in her husband’s bluegrass band, Grover and the Nighthawks.  She enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals and camping.  Gloria enjoyed spending time with…

Born April 6, 1947 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence J. and Agnes Cragle Pack. She was married to Stanley J. Rekrut. He passed away on July 26, 2000. Mr. Joseph C. Nardone, 96, of Koppel, passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2023. Born November 1st, 1926, in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Charles & Rose (Petti) Nardone. He served in the US Army from February 1st, 1945 until his honorable discharge on November 22nd, 1946 with the 86th Infantry Division stationed in the Philippines with the rank of Sargant. Boil the ravioli!  The crew is finally together again!  Loretta DeThomas LaGrotta, 87, joined her husband of 67 years, Francis, her brother, Michael and her sister-in-law, Jean, in Heaven’s kitchen.  No more wheelchairs. No more Hoyer lifts. No more slings or syringes.  And, just like Jesus promised, No More Pain. Best of all, Michael and Loretta are walking again.
