Alfred N. Sberna, 91, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2016. He was born on Oct. 24, 1924 in Ellwood City to the late Virgilio and Lisena Foiani Sberna. Alfred is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1942. On June 21, 1943 he enlisted with the U.S. Army and served with the 75th Bomb Squadron until his discharge on March 12, 1946 with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
