Dale “Fred” Tomb, Jr., 64 of Portersville passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, April 7, 2016. Born in Indiana, Pa. on Dec. 20, 1951, Fred was the son of the late Dale F. and Sara Miller Tomb. He is survived by his wife, the former Linda J. Pistorius whom he married on Nov. 21, 1998. Dolores “Dolly” Gardner, 84, of Ellwood City passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016 in the Golden Hills Nursing Home. Dolly was born on July 16, 1931 in Ellwood City to the late Stanley and Mary Sienkiewicz Krantz. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1952. Dolly had worked at the V.F.W. Club in Ellwood City as a bartender for over 20 years. She served as the Memorial Day Parade Committee chairperson for many years.
