Amelie Umurerwa, 24, of Pittsburgh and formerly of Kigali City, Rwanda died on August 12, 2025, in Pittsburgh. She was the daughter of Christophe Uwiringiyimana and Sylvie Mujawayezu and was born September 27, 2000, in Kigali, Rwanda in Africa. Amelie moved to Pittsburgh in 2020 to study nursing and she was currently in nursing school. She was also employed as a Nurse’s Assistant in Pittsburgh. Amelie was a loving and caring person who loved her family and friends deeply. She was a dedicated student and looked forward to being a Registered Nurse, upon her graduation. Denise L. Corwin, 63, of Ellwood City passed away on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 at the Grove at New Wilmington. Denise was born on September 11th, 1961 in New Castle to Darl John “Jack” Allen of Perry Township and the late Dorothy Jane (Galbreath) Fernandez. She had worked at the Wolverine Restaurant and most recently at the Sons of Italy #608 in Ellwood City as a bartender. Denise loved the outdoors and enjoyed crafts and going to flea markets. Richard B. Fec, 63, of Wayne Township passed away on Monday, August 18th, 2025 at the AHN Wexford Hospital. Richard was born in Ambridge on April 21st, 1962 to Zvonimire “Bella” (Krog) Fec and the late Berislav Fec. Mrs. Shirley Marie Rozzo, 81, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17th, 2025, while under the care of Lutheran Senior Life, Passavant Retirement Community in Zelienople. Born on January 19th, 1944 in Conway, PA, she was the only daughter of the late Bert and Alice (Happ) Young. On January 23, 1963 she married the love of her life , Robert E. Rozzo. Dawn MacKay, 89, passed away peacefully on August 2nd, in her apartment with her lifelong friend Sandy Easton by her side. Dawn is survived by her son David and his wife Rachel LaRitz. She was a cherished grandmother to their two daughters, Rebecca and Tina LaRitz.
