Sara  M. Fowler  Chesko  Bowers,  93, of   Ellwood City (Franklin Twp.) , passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning , June 20, 2018  at Trinity Oaks Care Center in Beaver PA. She was born in Warrendale PA on August 30 1924 to the late Glen  and  Lois  Arnold Fowler. Sara was a 1943 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City. She had belonged to the former Knox Presbyterian Church in Franklin Twp. from 1929 until it closed  in 2015, and  lately attended Riverview Country Chapel. Linda K. Biddle, 68, of First Ave. Ellwood City passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot following a brief illness. Born November 13, 1949 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Clayton Newell . Linda was married to Terry Biddle who passed away January 23, 2015. Linda graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing in the church choir. Mr. Roy A. “Mac” Welsh, Jr., 92, of Franklin Twp. passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Welsh was born on March 30, 1926 in Ellwood City to the late Roy and Alice (Adams) Welsh, Sr..  He enlisted with the U.S. Army on September 20, 1945 and served with the Company E 346th Engineer General Service as a Technician fifth grade until his discharge on January 31, 1947. Bill was born on December 29, 1976 in Pittsburgh to William J. and Rose Jones Hufnagel, Sr.. Cheryl F. Wagner, 70, of Fombell passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. Born January 21, 1948 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ross and Ethel Mae Rogan Bingle. She was married for 52 years to Sterling L.
