Thomas P. Shaffer, 85 of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 7:27 AM in Butler Township. Born in Franklin Township on November 11, 1932, Thomas was the son of the late Clarence and Hazel Palm Shaffer.  Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Prokop Shaffer in 2001.  He was retired from Matthew where he worked as a millwright.  Thomas was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Ellwood City and veteran of the Navy serving in the Korean War. She was born in Warrendale PA on August 30 1924 to the late Glen  and  Lois  Arnold Fowler. Sara was a 1943 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City. Mr. Welsh was born on March 30, 1926 in Ellwood City to the late Roy and Alice (Adams) Welsh, Sr..  He enlisted with the U.S. Army on September 20, 1945 and served with the Company E 346th Engineer General Service as a Technician fifth grade until his discharge on January 31, 1947. John A. Folino, 90, of Ellwood City, passed away in his residence on the morning of Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
