Foreman, 59, of Ellwood City passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he had been in the Trauma ICU after sustaining injuries in an accident on January 26. He was born on September 29, 1958 in Ellwood City to the late Gerald E. and Mary Lou Landolfi Foreman. Jerry is a member of the Riverside High School class of 1976 and attended the Community College of Beaver County. He had worked at several convenience stores in the area. Lillian Durbin French, 96, formerly of Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in Littleton, Colorado. Born December 3, 1921 in Chewton, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles P. and Martha Smith Durbin. She was married for 62 years to Russell B. French, who passed away December 28, 2013. Lillian graduated from Lincoln High School; Indiana State Teachers College (PA); and the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned her Masters of Letters Degree in accounting. Charles F. DeFonde, 65, of North Sewickley Twp. passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center. Charles was born on March 17, 1952 in Ellwood City to the late Guy P. “Nootch” and Violet Goodwin DeFonde. He had attended Riverside High School. Charles worked for many years as a truck driver for Browns Trucking and Penn DOT. He also loved to cook. Jean Morrow Cunningham Wick, 96,  was born on Foch Street in the Ewing Park section of Ellwood City on May 11, 1921 to parents Carrie Burket Morrow and Charles King Morrow.  Shortly after her birth, her father, C.K. Morrow, built the house in Ewing Park where she grew up. Jean spent her final years there until health required a move to the Trinity Oaks Care Center in Beaver,  where she passed away on Saturday morning, February 10 2018.  That  nearly one hundred year old house in Ewing Park, built by her father, is still occupied by members of her family….

Joyce Georgia Poole Snowden,  89, formerly of Beaver and North Sewickley, passed away peacefully on Thursday,  February 8, 2018 in the Wesbury UM Retirement Center in  Meadville, PA. She was born September 16, 1928 in Steubenville, OH to the late Edgar Alan Poole and Georgianna Ramaley Poole. She graduated from New Brighton High School in 1946 and married the late Donald L. Snowden in 1948. Charles W. Evans, Jr., 59, of Butler PA,  formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday evening, February 6  2018 at a friend’s residence. He was born in Ellwood City on February 2 1959 to Joan Gosciewski  Evans of Ellwood City, and the late Charles William Evans Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Evans. Marilyn Grace Geniviva, 64, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at her residence. Born December 2, 1953 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Helen U. Konowaluk and Cosmo S. Geniviva Sr. Marilyn graduated from Lincoln High School in 1971. She braved a 20 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Marilyn was known for her sense of humor, strong will, and her generosity. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church. Norman E. McKinney, 85, of Brighton Rd., Ellwood City (North Sewickley Twp.) passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the VNA Hospice in Butler following a brief illness.
