Mrs. Norma Szabo, 95, of Ellwood City died peacefully on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Northview Estates Assisted Living Facility. Born on February 13, 1923 in Ellwood City, Norma was the daughter of Anthony Young (Iacovine) and Loretta (Fusco) Young. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1942. On June 14, 1945, she married Andrew Szabo and that happy marriage lasted 55 years until his death on December 29, 2000. Norma was a warm, engaging and giving person to everyone she met. Gladys E. Lindsay Robinson, 78, of Freedom, PA (New Sewickley Twp.), formerly of Ellwood City,  passed away peacefully  on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver, PA. with  Jimmy and Tammy Price by her side. Thomas P. Shaffer, 85 of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 7:27 AM in Butler Township. Born in Franklin Township on November 11, 1932, Thomas was the son of the late Clarence and Hazel Palm Shaffer.  Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Prokop Shaffer in 2001.  He was retired from Matthew where he worked as a millwright.  Thomas was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Ellwood City and veteran of the Navy serving in the Korean War.
