Nancy Ann (Carl) Brady, 76, of Fombell passed away Thursday December 12, 2019 at the Passavant Retirement Community. She was born March 9, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late LaVern E. and Betty (Johnson) Carl. Active in her high school, Nancy played the French horn, marched as a majorette and volunteered time to assist in the care of special needs children. Born June 9, 1936 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Agnes (Blythe) Aldrich. She was married to Robert D. McKim who died in 1997. Virginia “Jean” Scott, 95, of Ellwood City passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at her residence. Jean was born on March 8, 1924 in Ellwood City to the late Dominic and Virginia (Portugallo) Eonta. For 13 years she was the owner and operator of Jean’s Bakery which was located on South 2nd St. in Ellwood City.
