Catherine I. Jaskolka, 80, of North Sewickley Twp., Ellwood City passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital following a short illness. She was born in Chewton, the daughter of the late Andrew and Balvine (Modliszewski) Rychlicki. Catherine graduated from Lincoln High School in 1958. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and active with the Christian Mothers Society. She was also the secretary at the church, retiring following 42 years of loyal service. Joann Novakovich, 59, of New Beaver Boro passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at UPMC – Jameson Hospital in New Castle. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Born December 31, 1960 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Mrkva) Novakovich. Joann graduated from Lincoln High School in 1978. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and sewing. She loved going to the beach. Joanne was known as the jokester of the family. She had an honest and big caring heart. On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, Wayne Alan Arkwright joined the Lord after a short battle with cancer at the age of 60. Wayne was born in Ellwood City, PA on September 27, 1959, and attended Riverside High School (Class of 1977). He is survived by his dogs, Lola and Molly, his wife, Sue and stepson David, his sisters, Elizabeth (Darlene), Diane, nieces, Lori and Kimberly, a great-niece, Samantha, and a great-great-nephew, Nolan. Mr. Loren L. “Larry” Cole, 80, of Perry Township passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, March 26, 2020 surrounded by his family. Mr. Cole was born on July 4, 1939 in Webster, West Virginia to the late William J. and Ruth P. (Bailey) Cole. He had attended Lincoln High School. Larry then served with the U.S. Navy until his discharge on August 4, 1964. Following his service with the Navy, he worked at the Ellwood City Forge for 39 years. Michelle was born on March 16, 1952 to the late Michael Anthony Martino and Mary Rose, (Reda) Martino. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1970 and had many jobs. Mrs. Varga was born on October 7, 1933 in Koppel to the late George and Mary (Hawrylak) Beres. Judy was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School.
