Mrs. Ann C (Mottillo) Plavecsky, 93, passed away on April 15th, 2024 at Advent Health Hospice Care, Altamonte Springs Florida. Ann was born on September 29th, 1930, to the late Guiseppe and Maria (Cusanelli) Mottillo. Ann was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, Pa. After graduation, Ann attended the Garfield School of Business in Beaver Falls, Pa. She later worked at the St. Agatha Rectory and convent and as a nanny to close friends in her community, who often referred to her as “Grandma Annie.” She was a member of the Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church,…

Coltin T. Mawhinney, 29, of Portersville passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at Butler Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Born May 30, 1994 in PIttsburgh, he was the son of the late Thomas E. Jr. and Shirley Richard Mawhinney. Coltin had attended Slippery Rock High School and worked as a laborer for Desuta Concrete in Portersville. He loved making people laugh and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. Mrs. Barbara Joanne (Stasick) Sutkowski passed away peacefully at the age of 89. She was surrounded by family, at Northview Estates on Friday April 12th, 2024. Barbara was an active member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church where she was a member of the Christian Mothers for many years. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She prepared countless meals for family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and babysitting. Rudolph “Rudy” Valentino, 95, of Neshannock (formerly of Chewton) passed away Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Jameson Care Center. Born May 13, 1928 in Wampum, he was the son of the late Giovanni and Domenica DeMichele Valentino. Rudy worked as a Union Bricklayer for Massa Brothers and had retired from Medusa Cement in Wampum after 24 years of service. A Veteran of the US Army, he served during WWII.
