Mrs. Carol Ritorto, 62, of Ellport passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at the Allegheny General Hospital. Carol was born on May 25, 1956, in Ellwood City to the late Thomas and Nancy (Zduniak) Rugh. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1975, and from the St. Francis School of Nursing in New Castle. She had worked at the St. Francis Hospital until it closed and then at the Jameson Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse. Mrs. Hamilton was born on September 16, 1944, in Ellwood City to the late Richard W. and Margaret (Brophy) Hudson, Sr. She had worked at the Ellwood City Knitting Mill, Leeds & Northrup, and the Jameson Memorial Hospital for sixteen years in the x-ray department. Dr. Robert E. Gregg, 95, of Pershing St., Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. Born October 12, 1923, in Rockdale, PA, he was the son of the late Walter P. and Anna Luntz Gregg. He graduated from Lincoln High School and the PA College of Optometry. Dr. Gregg was an optometrist for over 60 years in Ellwood City and an Army veteran who served his country in WWII, in the 1265th Combat Engineers. Born June 14, 1920 in Rochester, she was the daughter of the late Jay A. and Esther Blankenbicker Gabele .
