Delores Jean PolinDelores Hoak Poling, 82, of Ellwood City passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021,at her home. She was the daughter of Irene Hoak and was born May 15, 1938 in Ellwood City.

She is survived by her daughters; Laura Eckley and her husband Richard of Georgia, Delores “Dee” Donley and her husband James of Ellwood City, Stacey Poling of Pulaski, Sons; John Poling, Randy Poling and Brian Poling all of Ellwood City, Grandchildren; George Pennington, Jeffrey Zona, Sam Zona, Jacklyn Bennett, John Wetzel, Great-Grandchildren; Elijah Zona, Siblings; Leroy Hoak of New Mexico, John Holiday of New Castle,

She was preceded in death by one daughter; Della Jean Hoak, brothers; Richard Hoak, Chuck Holiday, Hugh Holiday, Sisters; Nancy Hoak and Roseann Hoak

She attended Lincoln High School. She was a member of Assembly of God in Ellwood City. She was a strong and very independent lady, who loved God and he was the center of her life. She greatly loved her family and cherished her friends. She also enjoyed watching Westerns. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Turner Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00am at Turner’s with Deacon Paul Weller, officiating.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, please wear a mask.

Interment will be in Slippery Rock Presbyterian Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to the TURNER FUNERAL HOME located at 6th and Park in Ellwood City.
