Tara A. Boariu, 32, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at her residence. Born November 19, 1987 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of Terry “Turk” Boariu of Ellwood City and the late Laura Stoyanoff who passed away in 2018. Tara graduated from Lincoln High School. She was a waitress at Hugger Muggers in New Castle. She was an avid Steeler and Penguin fan. Carmen R. Carozza, 91, of North Sewickley Township passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020. He was born on July 16, 1928 in Forestville to the late Michael and Angeline (Isacco) Carozza. He was a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. He also is a veteran of the Korean War. Mrs. Anne T Smith, 91, died on Sunday, May 3, 2020 at the Northview Estates after a short illness. She was born on April 27, 1929, to John F. Boyle and Josephine Smeltz Boyle. A lifelong resident of Ellwood City, she graduated from Lincoln High School in 1947, after which she worked in the office at the local U.S. Steel Corp. plant. Domenick Joseph Santo, 87, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at Carriage Court in New Castle. Born January 25, 1933 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Anthony and Rose (Lambiase) Santo. He was married to Mathilda Pistacchio Santo for 63 years as they were married on September 29, 1956. Robert F. Myers, 71, of New Castle, Pa, passed away, unexpectedly, on May 1, 2020. He was the son of the late Robert A. Myers and Ruth Henry Myers and was born on March 14, 1949, in New Castle, PA. Stanley R. Sobona Sr., 76, of New Brighton passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 11, 1943 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late Joseph T.and Nellie M. (Golmont) Sobona . Stanley retired in 1986 from Babcock and Wilcox following 24 years of service.
