Phillip G. Hoak of Franklin Township, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 following a motor vehicle accident. Phillip was born on August 26, 1986 in New Castle to Sherri Hoak and Kevin McCormack. He attended Riverside High School. Following high school Philip enlisted into the United States Army on August 23, 2011 and was discharged October 20, 2015. During his time in the Army, Phillip received the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon. Richard L. Husing, 79 of Perry Township passed away in the ER of UPMC Jameson Hospital on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Born in Grove City on September 19, 1940, Richard was the son of the late Louis and Hazel Frantz Husing.  Richard is survived by his wife, the former Nancy J. Gerald R. Mesko, 66 of New Castle passed away at the Grove in New Wilmington on Friday, June 19, 2020.
