Michael C. Ingram, 71, of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his residence. Born July 17, 1948 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Harold and Ruth Ryhal Ingram. He was married to Kathleen Foster Ingram, for 45 years. She survives. Mike was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and traveling to different campgrounds with his wife. He worked for many years as a foreman and laborer in construction. He cherished times spent with his family and leaves behind his dogs, Kody, Luke, and Nikita. Phillip G. Hoak of Franklin Township, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 following a motor vehicle accident. Phillip was born on August 26, 1986 in New Castle to Sherri Hoak and Kevin McCormack. He attended Riverside High School. Following high school Philip enlisted into the United States Army on August 23, 2011 and was discharged October 20, 2015. During his time in the Army, Phillip received the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Army Service Ribbon and the Overseas Service Ribbon. Born August 30, 1951 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Mont and Margaret Cotton McBride. He was married to Debra E. McBride who passed on April 23, 2005. She was born in Wurtemburg (Ellwood City), on October 26, 1922, the only child to the late Clifford L. “C.L” Bauder and the late Hilda M. Wallis Bauder. Helen Mae Plaveczki, 92, born on February 17, 1928, to the late John King Brouwere and Geraldine Amelia Brouwere, died on Wednesday, June 17th, at Northview Estates. Helen was a 1947 graduate of Lincoln High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her flower garden and was an avid reader.
