Mrs. Conti was born on January 18, 1920 in Ellwood City to the late Rocco DeTommaso and Mary C. (Montango DeTommaso) DeFilippo. She is a member of the Lincoln High School class of 1938. Harold “Pete” Shipe, 88, of Ellwood City, formerly of Valencia, passed away in his residence on Monday, December 14, 2020 after an extended illness. Born in Munhall, PA on August 17, 1932, Pete was the son of the late Albert and Jennie Ahlberg Shipe.  He married the former Carol Coleman on May 2, 1959.  Pete retired from Midland Title Insurance, where he worked as a title examiner.  A Veteran of the US Army, Pete served during the Korean War and later in the US Army Reserves.  He was a member the Mars VFW Post 7505.  Pete enjoyed hunting and he…

Mr. Patsy Natale Izzo “Neizer,” 90, of Ellwood City passed peacefully following a battle to COVID-19 and Pneumonia on December 9, 2020 at Jameson Hospital in New Castle, PA. Patsy was born on August 26, 1930 to the late Frank and Angeline (Prestopine) Izzo. Patsy was a Roman Catholic. Patsy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948. He was President of the Optimist Club and he coached baseball in the Pony League as well as coaching and playing softball for many years.
