Mr. John “Jack” Ferguson, 84, of Ellwood City passed away at the Jameson Care Center in New Castle on Tuesday April 6, 2021 following an extended illness. Born in Pittsburgh on November 5 1936, he was the son of the late John D. and May (Harrison) Ferguson of Mount Jackson. Jack graduated from Mount Jackson High School in 1954. He was employed at Calgon in Ellwood City from 1977 until his retirement from Nalco in 2000. He also worked as a courtesy driver for McElwain’s Motor Car Company in Ellwood City from 2002 until 2010. Melvin O. Main, 69, formerly of Ellwood City passed away on April 5th, 2021 at the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. Melvin was born on January 12th, 1952 in Ellwood City, to the late Marshall O. and Viola June (Shuster) Main. Cory Michael Kinder, 32, of Pershing Street, Ellwood City, passed away at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, on Friday April 2, 2021. Charles A. Young Jr., 89, of Ellwood City went to rest with his lord and savior on Tuesday, March 30th, 2021. Chuck was born in Ellwood City to the late Chuck and Winfred ( Cooney) Young Sr..
