Anthony DeGennaro, 51

Anthony DeGennaro, 51, passed away on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 at his residence in White Twp. surrounded by his loved ones

Anthony was born in Ellwood City on November 14th, 1970 to the late Carmen J. and Rose Marie (Rocco) DeGennaro. He had attended Riverside High School and is a member of the Holy Redeemer Parish. Anthony enjoyed working at the local steel mills for the past 25 years. He enjoyed hunting, football, camping, and most of all spending time with his family.

Anthony is survived by his wife, Janie (Carter) DeGennaro whom he married on February 18th, 1992, daughters, Brittni (Mark) Donley of Knox, Pa and Brianna DeGennaro of Beaver Falls, grandchildren, Grace, Kyle, Addy, Isiah , and Carmen, sisters, Sue (Craig) Best of Ellwood City, Nita (Joe) Barnes of Shenango Twp., and Matilda (Gary) Krenke of East Palestine, OH, brothers, Steve DeGennaro, Frank DeGennaro, Dom DeGennaro of Ellwood City, and Carmen DeGennaro of Delaware, and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. DeGennaro’s family would like to thank Vitas Hospice staff, Dr. William Ferri from UPMC oncology and James Walker PA at Heritage Valley for their amazing care and support.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and again on Saturday from 9:30 am until the time of the Blessing Service at 10:30 am at the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc.. Interment will follow at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
