Mary Ann Phillippi, 87, of Perry Township passed away Friday, December 30, 2022 at her residence following an extended illness. Born December 5, 1935 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late James and Violet Anna Sanko Rusidoff. She was married to Samuel W. Phillippi. Mary Ann graduated from Slippery Rock High School. On Wednesday, December 28th, 2022, Docia Jacobs passed away at the age of 75. She was born on May 12th, 1947 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Jerome and Elnora “Peggy” (Woods) Jinar. Docia was a passionate teacher, graduating from Lincoln High School before earning her degree in special education from Slippery Rock University. She spent many years teaching at New Horizon School, eventually becoming the Supervisor, before retiring in 2010. Charles H. “Chuck” Ritter, 85, of Franklin Twp., Ellwood City passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at his residence. Born July 30, 1937 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Harry and Evelyn Kobbee Ritter. Chuck graduated from Lincoln High School in 1955 and retired from BNZ Inc. in Zelienople after 35 years. He was affiliated with Lillyville Church of God. Chuck enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, trapping, and fishing. He also enjoyed bowling and softball. Claudia Jean Wimer, 85, of Wampum passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Hospital from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on December 7. Born October 26, 1937 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late William and Winona McDonald Bartholomew. Claudia had graduated from Union High School and then from the New Castle School of Business. She was employed by the Jameson Memorial Hospital for many years working as a biller and bookkeeper.
