Claire E. Jones, 52, of Perry Township, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at UPMC Jameson surrounded by his loving family from complications of COVID pneumonia. Born in Ellwood City on November 19, 1968, Claire was the son of Devona French of Ellwood City and the late David E. Sandra L. “Sandy” Huffman, 75, of Chewton passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehab Center following a brief illness. Born July 1, 1946 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Robert G. Sr. and Betty Lutz Huffman. Sandy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1964. She had worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance for 30 years and for the Lawrence County Courthouse for 20 years in domestic relations. She was a life long member of the Chewton Christian Church. Linda (Mercado) Boots, 53, of New Brighton passed away Thursday, November 11th, 2021 surrounded by her family, at her residence. Linda was born on November 24th, 1967 in Ellwood City to the late Leon and Nancy (Wright) Mercado. She attended Riverside High School. Linda worked at Wendy’s in Cranberry Township as a cashier and then at W.J. Service in Ohio. She was a member of the Ellwood City Women’s pool league for many years and enjoyed playing bingo. William H. “Bonie” Timblin, 79, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Heritage Valley Sewickley. Born September 7, 1942 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Hugh V. and Margaret Jean Wimer Timlin. He was married to Bonnie K. Bair Timblin when she passed away in 2020. Bonie was employed by Mathews Conveyor. Survivors include brother in law, Kenneth H. Kemp of Beaver Falls. Per his wishes, no services will be held.
