Margaret K. “Peggy” Cosgrove, 91

Margaret K. “Peggy” Cosgrove, 91, of New Galilee passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Edison Manor.

Born April 19, 1930 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Edward “Ebby” and Dorothy E. Miller Howarth.

Peggy enjoyed a full life at her home in New Galilee where she loved to garden, sew, read, and play with her little dog Buddy. She loved to visit her daughter and family in Boise Idaho, where she enjoyed many fun family activities. She had worked as a secretary for Moltrup Steel in Beaver Falls. She was a member of the Galilean Church. Her faith was strong and she had many good friends there. They were her extended family. She will be forever remembered by her family and friends.

Survivors include daughter, Barbara (John) Mallary of Boise, ID; sister, Joyce (Tom) Bauer of Morro Bay, CA; one grandchild, Heather Orchard and a great grandson Ryan Orchard both of Boise, ID.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Howarth, and her grandson Dr. Matthew Mallary of Eagle River, Alaska.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday November 13, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Marshall Funeral Home, 341 Main Street Wampum.

Funeral Services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home, on Sunday November 14, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Rev. C.F. Hoffman officiating. A luncheon will follow the funeral at the Galilean Presbyterian Church.

Interment will be a private ceremony on Monday in Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Galilean Presbyterian Church, 201 Madison St. New Galilee 16141.

    So sorry to hear that Aunt Peggy has passed. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. These are difficult times for both of us. So sad. Rest In Peace Aunt Peggy.
