Patricia A. Metheny, 78

Patricia A. Metheny, 78, of Beaver Falls, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born in Beaver Falls on February 4, 1943, Patricia was the daughter of the late Paul and Tess Monza Braid.  She married Gregg Metheny on June 16, 1984.  Patricia was an RN and her nursing career took her many places, including Heritage Valley Beaver, Oakland Neurosurgical and also into home healthcare.  She was also a massage therapist.  Patricia enjoyed quilting, playing the piano and spending time with family and friends. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Linda, who was a devoted mother and BFF. She left us while sleeping peacefully at The Grove in Harmony. She had just celebrated her 75th birthday and had decided that she could not take another Western Pennsylvania winter. Mr. Paul R. Arensberg Jr., 78, of Portersville is at peace now after a brave battle against cancer. Paul was born in Pittsburgh on April 14th, 1943 to the late Paul R. and Audrey (Luff) Arensberg. He worked in roofing for many years, was a talented carpenter, and retired from his maintenance position at the Station Square Sheraton Hotel after 29 years of service. Frederick A. “Mac” McAnallen, 73, of Ellport, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at UPMC McCandless, just 9 days after his wife, Leslie. Joseph Francis Valerian Jaeger, 96, of Hermitage, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2021 with family at his side. Born March 16, 1925 in Lyons, IL, he was one of seven children born to Joseph and Frances (Rezabek) Jaeger. Both his parents passed suddenly. Joseph and his brother Jerry were raised at St. Joseph’s orphanage near Chicago while his other siblings were adopted. Joseph’s religious upbringing in the orphanage was a core influence that led him to pursue priesthood studies at St. Procopius College.
