To get the final out Greco struck out Veronica Sikora pushing her game total to 14 strikeouts against three walks in the contest. Wolverines took an early lead in the second inning. Jeannette Throws Shutout as Riverside Panthers Varsity Defeats Lincoln

Adam Jeannette didn’t allow a single run as Riverside Panthers Varsity defeated Lincoln 10-0 on Wednesday. Jeannette allowed just two hits and struck out Roth to end the game. An early lead helped propel Riverside Panthers Varsity to victory.  Grove City entered Friday evening’s non section game with 11 home runs on the season. The Lady Wolverines won the home run battle and the game with a 9-5 victory. Ellwood City Wolverines Wins Back-And-Forth Affair Against Beaver Falls Ellwood City Wolverines defeated Beaver Falls 7-6 in a back-and-forth affair on Wednesday. The game was tied at three with Ellwood City Wolverines batting in the top of the sixth when Jordan Recce reached on a dropped third strike. Riverside was victorious over Ellwood City in both the girls and boys track competition Monday evening. “The teams competed well, but we are missing the depth to compete with a strong team such as Riverside. With the Ellwood City Adult Basketball League’s regular season winding down, quite a bit was on the line Sunday at the Family Center. To start, the highly coveted first round playoff bye was still up for grabs. Turncoats, owners of first place, looked to continue their residency of the top seed.
