Relay For Life Event Leadership Meeting Please join us for our next meeting of Ellwood City Relay For Life on Tuesday, March 12th at 6:00 pm. We will be meeting at the Moose, 1400 Factory Avenue. Plans will continue for our 2019 Carnival For A Cure on Lawrence Avenue again, Saturday, May 18th from 3:00 to 9:00 pm. VIDEO: “The Tamburitzans” To Perform At Lincoln High School

“The Tamburitzans” (formerly the Duquesne University Tamburitzans) will perform their new production, PRISM – Full Spectrum Culture, at the Lincoln Junior/Senior High School on Sunday, March 31th at 3:00pm. In their 82nd season, the Tamburitzans will take the audience on a whirlwind tour of Croatia, Serbia, Armenia, Romania, Ireland, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Greece, Latin Caribbean, the Ukraine, and Macedonia. Activities taking place this week include MONDAY, MARCH 11 6:30 p.m. – “Classic Book Group for Adults,” the book group will be discussing the book “A Woman in White” by Wilkie Collins. Project Educate Trauma Workshop Scheduled

Project Educate will be hosting a complimentary workshop on little to big traumas and how to transcend them. This workshop will be held at National Grind on Monday, March 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There will be beverages and snacks provided, as well as available child care. The workshop will be geared towards students aging from 14 to 21 along with their parents, families, and professional supports. Ellwood City Native Hosting Prize Bash Benefit Luncheon

There will be a Prize Bash Luncheon held at the Ellwood City Saxon Club on Saturday, April 27 starting at 1:00 p.m. This luncheon will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. All proceeds will go towards Kelly Coccia’s LLS Pittsburgh Women Of The Year campaign. The Ellwood City native, Coccia, will be hosting this event as one of her fundraising events. Hopping Into Ellwood Area’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt

This year will mark the Ellwood Area Egg hunt Committee’s 24th annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt will be on Saturday, April 13th with a starting time of 11:00 a.m. Any and all children 10 and under can participate in this event. The eggs will be hidden in Ewing Park this year. On top of these hunts, there will be a special needs hunt this year as well. The committee will be preparing for 700 children with 9,000 eggs being handed out.
