Gun Show To Take Place In February

The Castlewood Rod and Gun Club is sponsoring a Gun Show this year on February 26th and 27th. The two day even will take place at the Wurtemburg Perry Fire Hall in Ellwood City. The public is invited to this event where you will be able to buy, sell and trade firearms and accessories for trade, sale and exhibit. There will be plenty of free parking, good food, door prizes both days, and there will be 24 hour security. Historical Society Updates From First Meeting Of 2022

The Ellwood City Area Historical Society held their first general meeting for the year 2022 on Monday January 10th. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag led by Guy Prestia, a World War II veteran. The first order of business was the installation of officers elected in November, led by past president Al Kocher. The new officers, Everett Bleakney, President; Andy Kindle, 1st Vice President; Bob Morabito, 2nd Vice President; Lois Liebendorfer, Secretary; and Charles as Treasurer. As fall turned to winter, the weather got colder and everyone entered a holiday mode. Holy Redeemer Golf Bash Cancelled

According to a Facebook post made by the Ellwood City Wolves and Holy Redeemer, the Golf Bash that was originally scheduled to take place on January 16th has now been cancelled. After receiving a letter from Bishop David Zubick on the amount of rising COVID-19 cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel this in person event. Pennsylvania Farm Show To Be In Person This Year

Sen.
