The Riverside Auxiliary Band is hosting its 2nd Annual Spin Camp.
Students will be taught baton, flag, and dance basics. Students will use these skills to learn a routine that will be performed for parents at the end of the camp.
At the end of camp, students in grades 6-11 will have the opportunity to sign up for the 2023-24 Marching Band season as part of the Auxillary Band. Students in 5th Grade will have the opportunity to sign up for a new Junior Parade Line.
The camp is scheduled to take place February 28 – March 10 (Monday-Friday) at the Riverside Elementary Multi-Purpose Room (Cafeteria/Gym).
Times are as follows:
- 3:15 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. (5th Grade)
- 5:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. (6th-12th Grade)
On Friday, March 10th all students will stretch and rehearse together prior to a 6:30 p.m. performance.
Registration deadline is February 15, 2023. Camp cost is $60.00 and includes a t-shirt. Forms and drop box located in office or email rhs.auxband@yahoo.com.
