The Riverside High School Theater will present the hilarious comedy musical, The Drowsy Chaperone starting tomorrow through March 5th in the high school auditorium. A cast of over seventy-five from the high school and middle school will participate in the production directed by Andrew Kovall.  This is the 54th Anniversary of Theater at Riverside, so we hope you can join us for this landmark show. Saturday, March 4th, it’s Science With Seuss 11am-12:30pm.  Pre K to 2nd graders are invited to Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday, explore, create and have fun.  The Franklin Center will be on hand with a STEM Station, HeadStart and Pre-K Counts will have a literacy games and skills station, create a Seuss Make and Take and enjoy the Scavenger Hunt, designed to use a series of clues to lead parent and child from one location to the next.  The program will include a fun snack.  Registration required.  Call the library to register at 724.846.4340. Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following: Wednesday, March 1, at 10:00 a.m. — “Coloring for Adults,” a weekly program that is free and open to the public. “Coloring for Adults” is a new concept in helping to reduce the stresses of everyday life. The Ellwood City Art Club will be hosting an “April Fool Fashion Show and Tea” event, Saturday April 1, 2017 from 1p.m.-3:30p.m. The event will take place at Day Springs Gifts, 316 6th Street, Ellwood City, and will include tea, cookies, music, and entertainment. Proceeds go to producing a coloring book featuring new and seasoned artists from the local community. Adult tickets are $7, 18 and under are $5.
