Ellwood City Lions Club Hosting Night At The Races

The Ellwood City Lions Club is having a Night At The Races to raise funds for its 2023 campaign. The campaign provides donations and community services throughout the Ellwood City area. The Night At The Races fundraiser will be at the Wayne Township Fire Hall on Saturday, March 25, 2023.  Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and races will begin at 7:00 p.m. The club is seeking help from the community to help raise funds for the benefit. Ellwood City Earth Day Event Committee Seeks Vendors

The annual Lawrence County Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 22nd at Ewing Park, Ellwood City from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. The planning committee is seeking vendors to sell environmentally friendly products. Vendor products from previous years include goats milk soaps, rug rags, reusable tupperware, wood crafts, beeswax lotion bars, soaps, candles, plants, jams, herbs, goats milk lotion, and skincare products. Annual Ellwood City Easter Egg Hunt Returns, Under New Guidance

The Ellwood Area Egg Hunt Committee is announcing their retirement. With their 27th Annual, and final, Community Easter Egghunt completed last year, the committee has retired and has turned the event over to new guidance. The Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce will now be hosting the community Easter Egg Hunt event. This year’s event will take place Saturday, April 8th as their 1st Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt. Local Theatre Enthusiast Planning Improv Group, Hosting Meet and Greet

Calling all local comedy improv actors … Eric McAnallen is working to bring comedy improv to Ellwood City through his community-based troupe Driftwood Dramatics. The group is looking for actors in Lawrence and Beaver County and surrounding areas that would be interested in helping start an ongoing show to be rehearsed and performed in Ellwood City.
