School Board Meet The Candidate Night Set For Tomorrow Evening

The Ellwood City Kitchen Cabinet will again be hosting Meet the Candidate nights starting with the School Board candidates tomorrow evening, Tuesday, April 25 in Municipal Building auditorium from 6:30-8:00p.m. The Kitchen Cabinet started Meet the Candidates Night so guests could have the opportunity to attend and listen to the candidates present their remarks as well as answering questions. Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following: Tuesday, April 25, at 12:00 Noon — The Lawrence County Commissioners will hold their public meeting at the library beginning at Noon on Tuesday, April 25. Beautification Awards 2017

Mayor Court has announced today that the Ellwood City community will once again turn their properties into beautiful landscapes, bring the neighborhoods back to life for everyone to enjoy. This will be the 7th year that Mayor Court will present “Beautification Awards” and restaurant certificates to six (6) area residents who are nominated for taking pride in their properties throughout Ellwood City. All residents are encouraged to participate, by displaying your talents in your landscaping or nominating someone you feel has made their property stand out in the neighborhood. Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following: Monday, April 17, at 1:30 p.m. – Afternoon Book Discussion Group for Adults. Reminder: Lawrence County Earth Day Celebration

Ellwood City Community Enrichment and the Lawrence County Earth Day Committee invites you to attend Lawrence County Earth Day in Ewing Park, Ellwood City on April 22nd from 10am – 2pm and learn about environmental issues, buy “green” products from vendors, and eat a free hotdog!
