CCBC and Logstown Associates Host 30th Annual Native American Gathering

Dayspring Gifts to Host Local Artist Art Show

Dayspring Gifts on 6th will be hosting an art show in early November featuring a variety of artwork from four local young artists. The theme is “Renew and Revive” to compliment the ongoing Ellwood City Revitalization projects and dually the age of the entrants. Connoquenessing Country Club to Host Murder Mystery Dinner

The Connoquenessing Country Club will be hosting a murder mystery, “Bullets in the Bathtub,” on, October 14, 2017 that is open to the public. Portersville Christian School Fine Arts Committee Announces Fall Production of Antigone

Portersville, PA – Portersville Christian School’s Fine Arts Committee announces that a modern English translation of Sophocles’ Antigone will be presented Thursday, November 9, Friday, November 10 and Saturday November 11, at 7 PM each night, at the school, 343 East Portersville Road/Rt. 488 East, Portersville PA 16051. Old Photo Friday: Ellwood Celebrates 95th Birthday with 95ft Cake

Thanks to the courtesy of the Ellwood City Historical Society, they have provided us with a box full of old photos that we will now be using for Old Photo Friday! Today’s feature is the 95ft cake served on Lawrence Avenue in 1987 for the town’s 95th birthday celebration. Check out the photo below: The 95ft cake was formed by 112 9×13 individual cakes that were donated by area organizations and individuals.
