2023 Delmar Golf Course Club Championship Results

The 63rd Annual Delmar Golf Course Club Championship was held August 5th and August 6th, 2023. This year the event featured 63 members and Sam Barry Jr. collected his 11th club championship. Barry, Jr. finished with a two day total of 4 under par, 140 to win by 3 strokes over Broc Boariu and Lino Simeoni. Dave Cappello and Geoffery Bokor captured the A-Flight title while Carson Cappello captured the B-Flight championship. POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

THEFT: On July 24th at approximately 8:51 p.m., PA State Police responded to a report of theft from a vehicle at McConnells Mill Park, Slippery Rock Township. According to the report, and the 29-year-old female victim from Butler, the driver side front window of a 2008 Jeep was smashed and a small multicolor Grateful Dead danccing bear backpack purse was stolen from the vehicle. Pickleball Court a “Hit” in Ewing Park

If you have noticed something new this year in Ewing Park … it’s probably the pickleball court. Councilwoman Judith Dici saw the sport growing in popularity and when she realized that it was a sport that many ages and skill levels could enjoy, she decided to bring the idea to Ellwood City Borough Council. Borough Online Payment System Still Not Functioning

In a post made available Monday morning, the Borough of Ellwood City has reminded and notified its electric customers that their PayDici online payment portal is still not functioning. The borough advises that payments are to be made in person via check, mailing a check, or calling in to make payment by credit card over the phone.
