Lincoln High School Prom 2025: “What Happens At Prom Stays At Prom”

On Friday, May 2, 2025, Ellwood City Lincoln High School will host its annual prom, themed “What Happens at Prom Stays at Prom,” at the Pittsburgh Event Center, located at Steamfitters Local 449 in Zelienople, Pennsylvania. Before heading to the venue, students will take part in the traditional LHS Promenade at the Leslie Sabo Memorial Auditorium. Lincoln High School Students Inducted Into National Honors Society

The Ellwood City Area School District celebrated the outstanding achievement of 23 students who were formally inducted into the National Honor Society during a special ceremony on Saturday evening. Their dedication to scholarship, leadership, service, and character sets an incredible example for our entire school community. Ellwood City scratched out a go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn a section victory over Mohawk Monday afternoon. Ellwood City Little League To Celebrate 75th Anniversary Season This Summer

Ellwood City Little League Baseball will celebrate their 75th anniversary this season. Ellwood City organized the first Little League program in Lawrence, Beaver, Butler and Mercer counties in 1950. Ellwood City along with McKeesport, Washington, Coraopolis, and Tarentum were the five leagues in western Pennsylvania that participated in the state tournament in 1950. The inaugural game of the Ellwood City Little League game was played at the Lincoln High School Field on June 6, 1950. Bernstine Announces Loan for Portersville Muddy Creek EMS Ambulance Upgrade

HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) today announced the Portersville Muddy Creek Township Volunteer Fire Department has been approved for an $81,740 loan from the Office of the State Fire Commissioner. POLICE: Weekly Police Blotter

SIMPLE ASSAULT: Richard Newman, 56, of Ellwood City, is charged with Simple Assault after an incident occurring on April 16th. According to a criminal complaint, and at approximately 7:21 p.m., police were dispatched to Laurel Avenue, Wayne Township for reports of a domestic dispute. Officers spoke to Newman’s wife who reported that she and Newman got into verbal argument that turned physical.
