Ellwood City Relay for Life Meeting

HAPPENING NOW: Halloween Costume Submissions

We are now accepting Halloween costume submissions for our annual costume contest! The last day to submit is Nov 2. All submissions will appear on our Facebook gallery page for voting beginning Friday, November 3rd and voting runs through Thursday, November 9th. The Rules: 1. Dress your kids up for Halloween! 2. Submit the best photo of your child in his/her costume to EllwoodCity.org by e-mailing ecstaff@ellwoodcity.org (please include name and age) 3. VOTE! 4. Win and collect your prize! CCBC Faculty Member Selected as Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert for Third Consecutive Year

Notice of Tax Office Hours

The municipal building tax office will be changing hours for the next two months. In November the office will be open only on Wednesdays from 10-3. In December the office will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10-3.

Updates on the Ellwood City Hospital

Over the past week dozens of employees had been laid off at the Ellwood City Hospital, an action that left the community wondering what’s going on. Updates about the current state of the Ellwood City Hospital have remained far and in between since information about the sale had been made public earlier this year. On October 24, CEO Beverly Annarumo released the following statement on the sale of the hospital: “We are getting very close to closing on the sale of the hospital.
