Local Girls Hosting ‘Hugs for Pap’ Holiday Blanket Drive for Club Hope

Two Ellwood City girls know two things for sure this holiday season … they miss their “pap” and want to help those with cancer. Maura (9), and Ella (5) Fauzey are teaming up with Club Hope Foundation for a “Hugs for Pap” Blanket drive in honor of their Grandfather, Tony Celli, who died in April of pancreatic cancer. Claire Fauzey, the girls’ mother, said they came up with idea. Real Estate Transfers For November 2022

The month of November hosts the holiday Thanksgiving. For many in the area, this year’s Thanksgiving holiday was hosted in a new home. RHS Student Council To Present Annual Senior Citizens Christmas Program

Riverside High School Student Council will present its annual Senior Citizens Christmas Program & Dinner next week. The afternoon will be full of Christmas favorites with featured entertainment by the High School Chamber Ensemble, Choir, and Band and the Middle School Chorus. Three Games, Three Double-Doubles For Roth; Wolverines Start Season 3-0

The Ellwood City junior big man has led the young, upstart Wolverines to an early 3-0 regular season record after the Wolverines wrapped up the Laurel Tip-Off tournament by defeating the host Spartans 61-46 Monday night. PHOTOS: ‘Let There Be Lights’ & Christmas Parade

A series of events hosted by the Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce kicked off the first weekend of December. Friday evening, Ellwood City held its “Let There Be Lights” downtown extravaganza that featured street vendors, live performances, and the lighting of the large holiday tree in the community plaza. On Saturday, Lawrence Avenue was greeted with floats, groups and trucks as part of the annual Christmas Parade. Local Residents Hosting Vendor and Craft Show to Benefit Club Hope

After feeling an amazing amount of love and support during her Lymphoma diagnosis in March, Betty Phillippi wanted to give back.
