Lena Stanilla Bauder, 97, of Ellwood City, (Franklin Twp.) was called home to the Lord, on Sunday evening, November 19, 2017 at the Ellwood City Medical Center. She was born on January 2, 1920 in Lebanon, PA to the late Anna Arazan and Joseph Stanilla. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 1937, where she met her future husband, Willard E. Bauder, when he was stationed at Indiantown Gap before he was sent to Europe during World War II. She and Willard married on November 7, 1945. He passed away May 3, 1982. Ira Clifford   Boyer, 71, of Fombell, (Franklin Twp.) passed away peacefully at his home on Monday morning, November 13,  2017. He was born in Ellwood City  on December 31,  1945  to the late Ira W. Boyer and the late Mary Daufen Boyer. Cliff was a graduate of Riverside High School, class of  1964.  He then volunteered for service in the US Army, serving  as a sergeant for more than one tour in Vietnam, where he drove supply trucks in battle areas. She was born in Ellwood City, on March 30, 1927 to the late George and Regina Koenig Miller, and was raised by the late Wilhelm and Anna Schuller. He was born in Ellwood City on May 21 1954, to the late Gerald Kasparek, Sr., and the late Alma Kotuba Kasparek. Rick was a graduate of Riverside High School. Alice E. Woodrow, 77, of Portersville, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, October 16 2017. She was born in Ellwood City, PA on May 10, 1940 to the late Harold and Alice Pander Funkhouser. She graduated from Lincoln High School (Ellwood City) in  1958 and worked at Airways Industries in Ellwood City, and later at American Eagle Outfitters in Warrendale  before retiring.  Lloyd Elmer  Moyer, 93, of Schill Manor, Ellwood City, formerly of Fombell, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Ellwood City Hospital. He was born  in  Fombell, Beaver County, on September 26 1924 to the late Elmer and Esther Herrmann  Moyer. He married the late Phyllis Catherine Boots Moyer on June 12 1948.  She preceded him in death in October 2014. Together they remained on the farm,  and owned and operated Moyer Farm Dairy from 1959-1972.   After selling the dairy, Lloyd worked at the Ellwood City Forge until his retirement.   He continued working as needed  as…

Frank  Tangora, 93, of  Ellwood City, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2 2017 at  The Grove at Harmony PA. He was born in  Aliquippa   on August 6 1924,  to the late the late  Pasquale  and Antonetta    Tangora. Frank attended Aliquippa High School,  and then served in the US Army 5th Air Force during WWII, with the 90th Bombardment Group, in New Guinea, the Bismark  Archepelago,   and the Phillippines.
