Nancy J. Husing, 82, of Perry Township, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Born in Ellwood City on April 18, 1941, Nancy was the daughter of the late Michael and Julia Beller Lample.  Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Husing on June 20, 2020.  They were married on January 17, 1958.  She attended Lillyville Church of God.  Nancy enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking and fishing.  She, along with her husband, were avid hunters. Diane Tedrow, 75, of Chewton, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Butler Health System. Born in Homewood on May 27, 1948, Diane was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Keppan Shoaff.  She married Rodnie Tedrow on January 13, 1969 and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2023.  Diane retired as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Providence Care Center where she worked for many years.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also loved her two black labs. Betty Jean Schliffka, 96, formerly of Fombell, passed away at Avalon Place in New Castle on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Born in Frisco (Franklin Township) on March 19, 1927, Betty was the daughter of the late John W. and Edna Pearl Kriner Nelle.  Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Schliffka, Jr. on May 24, 2011.  They were married on May 24, 1947.  Betty was a graduate of the Lincoln High School Class of 1945.  She was a member of the Ellwood City Art Club.  Betty enjoyed painting, crocheting, doing puzzles and even taught herself to play the…

Joann VanGorder, 81, of Boyers, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away peacefully at Allegheny General Hospital on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. Born in Ellwood City on November 24, 1942, Joann was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Barnhouse Kelly.  She married Kenneth VanGorder on October 18, 1961 and they were married three days short of fifty-eight years when he preceded her in death in 2019.  A 1960 graduate of Lincoln High School, Joann was a very active octogenarian.  She still enjoyed riding her side by side, sitting on her porch enjoying all the wildlife that would happen by…

Shirley Anne White, 77, of Shenango Township, passed away at Advent Health Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Born in New Castle on December 20, 1946, Shirley was the daughter of the late William and Twila Critchlow Phillips.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Born in Ellwood City on March 29, 1960, Tammy was the daughter of the late George and Matilda Seaburn Yhelka.  She is survived by her husband, Joseph E. David Andrew Hulick, 38, went home to be with our Lord on Friday, February 23, 2024 in Carthage, North Carolina. Carol Klingensmith, 76, of Shenango Township passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Butler Hospital surrounded by her family members. Born on October 14, 1947 in Meadowville, West Virginia, Carol was the daughter of the late Hobert an Rosalie Anderson Moore.  She is survived by her husband, James H. Albert R. Seaburn II, 76, of Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at UPMC Mercy Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh on September 18, 1947, Albert was the son of the late Albert and Roma Menold Seaburn.  Albert is survived by his wife, the former Linda L. Stevie Jane Kruger, 3, has been eternally healed surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
