Myron Dellinger, 72, of Ellwood City, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at UPMC Shadyside. Born in Lincolnton, North Carolina on July 19, 1951, Myron was the son of the late Bernice J. Dellinger and Dorothy L. Dianne M. Smith, 76, of Ellwood City, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Avalon Springs Place in Coolspring Township. Born in New Castle on May 12, 1948, Dianne was the daughter of the late Clifford Deemer and Barbara Sheehy Gumminey. She married Rodger Clair Smith on March 17, 1990 and he preceded her in death on June 9, 2014. Dianne was a 1966 graduate of Riverside High School. She retired from Ro-Mar Textiles in Ellport. Louis A. Beatrice, 76, of Ellwood City, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Butler Health System. Born in Ellwood City on September 16, 1947, Louis was the son of the late Lewis and Sara Ruscille Beatrice.  He was a graduate of Lincoln High School and a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam War.  Catholic by faith, Lou enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attended their sporting events and activities whenever possible. David D. Moffatt, 72, of Ellwood City, passed away at his residence on Monday, May 6, 2024. Born in Ellwood City on June 5, 1942, James was the son of the late Paul Howard and Helen M. Edward Herman Berendt, 78, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at home peacefully surrounded by his wife and children. Ed was born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania on May 6,1945 to the late Margaret Miller Berendt and William M. Berendt, Sr.  He worked at multiple steel mills in the area and finished his career at the Ellwood City Forge. Thomas R. Dwyer, 77, of Ellwood City, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, April 19, 2024 from ongoing health issues. He was born in Ellwood City on May 26, 1946 to the late George and Alberta Geary Dwyer.  Thomas was a talented gymnast at Riverside High School where he graduated from.  He loved racing dirt bikes and helping his late uncle Harold Geary at Geary’s Cycle Center. John M. Hribar III, 67, of Aliquippa, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Beaver Valley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Ellwood City on August 18, 1935, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Ralph and Florence Foringer Richt. She married William A. Bubb, Jr. on December 31, 1955 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2022. Phyllis retired from the Ellwood City Hospital in 1996 where she worked as a respiratory therapist.
