John Nicholas Perry, Sr., of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, affably known as “Pappy,” passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025-the day of his 64th wedding anniversary-at home in the presence of his loving family. He was 86. John was born in Ellwood City on March 2, 1939. He was the descendent of Italian immigrants and the son of Nicholas Nazarene Perry, a steel worker, and Josephine Perry (nee Beatrice), a nurse. Raymond D. Young, 70, of Wurtemburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital. Born in Ellwood City on December 7, 1954, Ray was the son of the late Russell and Ruth Linzey Young. He married the former Amy Lose in 1985.
