James A. Tritt, 71, of Ellwood City, passed away due to COVID on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Providence Care Center in Beaver Falls. Born in Ellwood City on March 31, 1949, James was the son of the late Raymond F. and Mary B. Charles C. Hedlund, 64 of Taylor Township passed away at his residence on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Born in Taylor Township on October 19, 1955, Charles was the son of the late Charles V. and Charlotte Clark Hedlund.  He is survived by his wife, the former Lila Shutack, whom he married on July 10, 1978. Mollie R. Mazzanti, 90, formerly of Ellport passed away in Northview Estates on Thursday, August 27, 2020. Born in New Castle on November 27, 1929, Mollie was the daughter of the late Luigi and Virginia Pacella Nocera.  Mollie was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob “Jake” Mazzanti on October 27, 2015.  They were married on July 9, 1947.  Mollie was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish.  Mollie was a full time mother, she enjoyed time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Janette L. Mathas, 76, of Ellport, passed away on Thursday August 20, 2020 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born in Germany on June 5, 1944, Janette was the daughter of the late Roman and Lydia Pilieve Szkudlarek.  She married Alexander Mathas on June 12, 1965 and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2012.  Janette attended Holy Redeemer Church. Born in Ellwood City on November 19, 1936, Don was the son of the late George H. and Lillian Ketterer Parker.  Don is survived by his wife, the former Carol A. Born in Ellwood City on December 23, 1946, Thomas was the son of the late George E. and Mary Long White. Thomas worked at US Steel, and later at the Ellwood City Hospital in Maintenance. Mary Ann (Pisano) Sirimarco, 76, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at Crandall Medical Center, Sebring, Ohio, after a lengthy illness.
