John “Jack” Turner, 58, of Worth Township, passed away at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, May 16, 2020. Born in Pittsburgh on March 28, 1962, Jack was the son the former Beatrice M. Shema of Worth Township and the late Paul H. Turner.  A lifelong volunteer, Jack was a former Lieutenant with the Bridgeville Fire Department in Bridgeville, PA and also a former member of the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Department Reserves. Leonard Frazzini, 81 of Franklin Township passed away at Good Samaritan Hospice, Heritage Valley on Sunday, May 10, 2020. Born in Ellwood City on October 4, 1938, Leonard was the son of the late Samuel and Manuella Antinossi Frazzini.  Leonard is survived by his wife, Sally Lordo Frazzini whom he married on December 29, 1984.  He had worked as a machinist at Ryan Engineering and later at Tita Machine Shop.  Leonard along with his brother owned and operated The New Deal Bar in Ellwood City from 1980 through 1989.  He was a member of the Marian Hill-New Brighton Sportsman Club…

Antoinette C. DiBello, 83 of Ellwood City passed away at her residence on Saturday, May 9, 2020. Born in Castelbottaccio, Italy on July 22, 1936 she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria DeOto Niro.  Antoinette is survived by her husband Ralph J. DiBello whom she married on May 7, 1960. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish and the former Golden Agers Group that meet at the Catholic Center.  Antoinette enjoyed knitting and cooking, especially her bread, cookies and pizza.  Mostly she enjoyed her time with her grandchildren, all of her friends and her Friday visits…

Gerald Crowley, 91 of Ellwood City, passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 18, 2020. Born in Ellwood City on May 25, 1928, Gerald was the son of the late John L. and Margaret C. John L. Bell, 80 of Wampum passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Born in Marietta, OH on May 30, 1939, John was the son of the late John P. and Ruth Harris Bell.  He is survived by his wife, the former Audell Martin, whom he married on May 4, 2002.  John owned and operated Bell’s Refrigeration for over 35 years.  John enjoyed music, he was a talented trumpet, trombone and guitar player.  John also enjoy his time fishing. Charles A. Robinski, 75 of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Heritage Valley Beaver Medical Center. Born on July 7, 1944 in Harrisburg, PA, Charles was the son of the late Charles and Jennie Morabito Robinski.  Chuck graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School in 1962 and attended college at Gannon University in Erie.  While living in Harrisburg he worked for Xerox.  After moving to Ellwood City, Chuck became the manager of 7-11 in Zelienople.  An avid sports fan and memorabilia collector, Chuck opened a card shop in Ellwood City.  He enjoyed telling stores of sports…

Francis “Fran” LaGrotta, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at his residence, surrounded by the love and prayers of his family. Cindy L. Stabryla, 61, of Chewton, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2020 in the emergency room at UPMC Jameson. Born on December 14, 1958 in Ellwood City, Cindy was the daughter of Doris Wallace Woloszyn of Chewton and the late Andrew Woloszyn.  She married Dennis Stabryla on July 11, 1977 and they celebrated 42 years of marriage.  A 1976 graduate of Lincoln High School, Cindy enjoyed going to the beach and being by the water.  She was a huge Guns N’ Roses fan, arguably their biggest.  But most of all, Cindy absolutely loved her two grandchildren, Sebastian and Genevieve….
