William “Lucky” Loccisano, 74, of Ellwood City, passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Born in Ellwood City on January 9, 1947, Lucky was the son of the late James Loccisano and Stella Cartacio Loccisano.  A graduate of Lincoln High School, Lucky formerly owned Tri-State Webs.  He was a Veteran of the US Navy and a member of both the Hungarian Club and the Sons of Italy.  Lucky coached football for many years, including the Ellwood City Packers, Ellwood City Little Wolverines, Lincoln High School and Grove City High School.  He also coached baseball for many years…

Scott E. Hays, 27, of Ellwood City passed away at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Born in Brighton Township on March 2, 1993, Scott was the son of Michelle Johnston Houk of Ellwood City and the late Paul (Scooter) Hays.  Also surviving is his wife, the former Chelsea Oslick, whom he married on February 9, 2019.  Scott had worked as an assistant manager at L.L. Erwin M. Tondt, 78, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at UPMC McCandless. Born in Poland on August 29, 1942, Erwin was the son of the late Otto and Berta Pekrul Tondt.  After Otto passed away unexpectedly, Erwin was raised by his step-father, Fred Class.  Erwin retired from INMETCO where he worked as a supervisor.  He married the former Norma Follett on August 26, 2006 and they both enjoyed playing pool when they were able.  He was also a member of the Hungarian Home. Mary E. Wolfe, 92, formerly of Ellwood City, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Avalon Place in West Pittsburg. Born in Pittsburgh on October 2, 1928, Mary was the daughter of the late Andrew and Laura Rucinski.  She retired from the Rochester Area School District where she was the head cook in the cafeteria and she was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish.  Mary loved to spend time with her family.  She and her late husband, Robert enjoyed going on road trips, without a particular destination in mind, often going wherever the road would take them. Roxanne Hoffman, 64, of Ellport, passed away on January 29, 2021, at the Grove in New Wilmington after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Ellwood City, on July 20, 1956 to the late Orville Ray and Edna (Park) Miller.  She was a teacher’s assistant at the Blackhawk Area School District and a member of the Dayspring Harvest Ministries.  She was a very active member of her church, loved to travel, enjoyed sewing and crafting.  Roxanne was an avid swimmer, but above all loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Born in Ellwood City on August 20, 1989, Kevin is the son of Patricia Smith Lintz of LaVergne, TN and Kevin B. (Charlene) Adams of Franklin Township.  Kevin was a machine operator at Wolverine Plastics in Franklin Township. Earl Pishioneri, 95, passed away on January 15, 2021, in Green Valley, Arizona.  He was born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania on October 31, 1925 to Joseph and Felicia (Dattilo) Pishioneri.  He served as a Seaman First Class aboard the USS Chew (Pearl Harbor) during WW II.  He joined the Air Force in 1950 where he served in the Strategic Air Command as an air refueling operator at Davis Monthan AFB in Tucson, Wurtsmith AFB in Michigan, and Castle AFB in California.  He retired in 1968 as a Master Sergeant and returned to college where he earned an AA in Humanities…

Born in Ellwood City on December 9, 1934, Sara was the daughter of the late Alex and Katurah Wineman McLaughlin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Kandace L. Fountain, 61, of Ellwood City, passed away at her residence on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Born in Ellwood City on November 21, 1959, Kandace was the daughter of William and Phyllis Richt Bubb of Perry Township.  She is also survived by her husband, J.D. Everett Wimer, 73, of Ellwood City, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at UPMC Jameson. Born in Ellwood City on December 7, 1947, Everett was the son of the late Charles and Bernice Wilson Wimer.  He married the former Nancy Wolfe on October 26, 1995.  Everett retired from Clem’s Trailer Sales in Franklin Township where he worked as a mechanic.  He and his wife Nancy bred, raised and showed long haired dachshunds and they were the proud owners of four champions.  Everett enjoyed watching drag racing and he raced when he was younger.
