Karen M. Labor, 61 of Ellwood City passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at her residence. Karen was born on October 30, 1956 in Ellwood City to the late Donald J. Labor Sr. and Carmella Maietta Labor. She had graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1974, and from the Community College of Beaver County with a degree in Business Management. Mr. George R. Parker, 83, of Perry Twp. passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Heritage Valley Medical Center. Mr. Parker was born on June 6, 1934 in New Castle to the late George H. and Lillian Ketterer Parker. He enlisted with the U.S. Navy on September 23, 1951 and served on the USS Keppler and the USS Cascade until his discharge on September 24, 1959.  He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, and the Navy Occupation Service Medal (European Clasp). Mr. Ronald A. Fife, 74, of Chewton passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Hospice. Mr. Fife was born on June 12, 1943 in Ross Twp. to the late Ralph and Edna Jane Schindler Fife, Sr.. He enlisted with the U.S. Army on January 3, 1962 and served for three years with the rank of Private. Ron then worked for the Ellwood City Forge for 35 years as a lathe operator. George was born on September 4, 1964 in New Brighton to the late Emery and Bertha Ann Cumberledge Strabel. He had graduated from Center High School with the class of 1982, and later from the New Castle School of Trade where he studied auto mechanics. George had worked for J.B.
