Albert was born on June 20th, 1927 in Ellwood City to the late Warren Turner and Dorothy (Nye) Daufen. He attended Lincoln High School and enlisted with the United States Marine Corps on September 4th, 1945 and was honorably discharged on October 31st, 1946 with the rank of Private First Class.
