August J. “Jim” Morella, 80, of Ellport passed away on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at the Edison Manor in New Castle.
August was born in Ellwood City on February 9, 1942 to the late August and Pauline A. (Ferrucci) Morella. He had graduated from Lincoln High School. Jim worked at the Connoquenessing Country Club, Holiday Inn, and Morella’s Diner which was located in Ellport as a food manager. He enjoyed cooking and drag races.
He is survived his son, Stephen Beyers of Ellport, and grandson, Garrett Beyers.
He was preceded min death by his parents and his brother, John Morella.
There will not be a public service. Final arrangements are entrusted to the Samuel Teolis Funeral Home and Crematory Inc..
