Mrs. Mary Prestopine, 98, formerly of Schill Manor in Ellwood City passed away on Thursday, November 30th, 2023 at Quality Life Services in New Castle. Mrs. Prestopine was born in Ellwood City on July 6th, 1925 to the late Antonio and Jennie (DeLoia) Pietrcollo. During World War II she worked at the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill and later at Romar Textiles in Ellport for 25 years as a seamstress. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, Christian, athlete, educator, coach, mentor, and friend, Donald J. “Ducky” Costa, of Frankin Township,  passed peacefully to his eternal reward on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Donald was born February 17th, 1937, in Ellwood City, the son of the late Patsy and Clara (Statti) Costa. Donald was a longtime Principal and English teacher.  His passion was coaching football which he did at a number of High Schools and Colleges with a career spanning 60 years. Debbie was born on May 5th, 1960 in Beaver Falls to the late Merve and Judy (Ellison) Davidson. She attended Riverside High School.
