Wurtemburg United Methodist Church Hosts ‘Second Saturday’ Soup Supper

The Wurtemburg United Methodist Church will have a ‘Second Saturday’ Soup Supper on March 12 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Soups include creamy potato and vegetable beef. There will also be Italian bread, homemade rolls, dessert, beverages and refills. Dine-in and take out are both $5. Children under five are free. Activities taking place at the Ellwood City Area Public Library include the following: Tuesday, March 8, at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. — “Family Laptime,” an interactive story time for babies as young as 6 months old as well as for toddlers and preschoolers. Holy Redeemer To Hold ‘ENCOUNTER’ Event on Sunday

Holy Redeemer Parish will be holding an ENCOUNTER event geared to Jr. High and High School teens on Sunday, March 6th.  The event goal is to foster a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. There will be games, music, a talk and prayer. Leading the evening will be a popular Catholic musician and speaker Katy Blythe. ENCOUNTER will held here at Holy Redeemer this Sunday, March 6th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Support Group for Foster and Adoptive Mothers at Fountain First Baptist Church

If you’re a foster or adoptive parent/guardian, come join us on Sunday’s from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Fountain First Baptist Church. Veterans’ Specialists to Visit Gibbons’ Office Next Week

March 1 – State Rep. Jaret Gibbons today announced he will host two veterans’ specialists in his Ellwood City office next week. “I am happy to provide this service so veterans they can understand their rights and benefits,” Gibbons said, D-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence. Stephanie Bengoa and Ryan Paglia will participate in the event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 to lend help to veterans and their families. Sanctuary Jazz Band to Perform at Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church

The Sanctuary Jazz Band will be in concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 27 at Wurtemburg Presbyterian Church’s fellowship hall, 291 Wurtemburg Road, Wayne Township. The performance will be open to the public. A goodwill offering will be accepted to benefit the Carpenter’s Project.


CCBC Men’s Basketball Team Finds Success on and off the Court
