Born July 25, 1933 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late James E. and Dorothy (Forbush) Houk Sr. He was married for 60 years to Gloria A (Burick) Houk when she passed away July 30, 2017. Born February 10, 1944 in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Dale and Rosanna Jane (Cogley) Haines. She was married to George F. Murphy for 51 years when he died July 23, 2012. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Midge Leighber, and four brothers, Jim, Don, Raymond, and Tom Haines. A homemaker, Shirley enjoyed cooking and baking. Born July 11, 1938 in Koppel, he was the son of the late Herbert H. and Margaret C. (Mills) Deal. Herb retired in 1986 from Babcock and Wilcox where he was a millwright welder. He then worked and retired in 2000 from Essroc Cement Co. in Bessemer. A Veteran of the Army, Herb served during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing.
