Caren L. Kennedy, 74, of Wampum passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian following a very brief illness. Born September 29, 1946 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Betty J. Holler Cody. She was married to Melvin U. Kennedy on September 2, 1975. He survives. Caren was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Chewton where she served as the Church Clerk and taught Sunday School. Walter Judson “Judd” Blinn Jr., 85, of Slippery Rock Township passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, December 7, 2020. Born May 1, 1935 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Walter Judson and Jessie Ardella Smith Blinn. He was married to Marilyn Howell Blinn for 58 years. They were married in August,1962. Judd retired from Shenango High School in 1992 after 35 years, where he taught 7th and 8th grade general science. His first year of teaching was with the New Brighton School District. A prominent Ellwood City Dentist, Dr. Charles W. Marion, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at home. He had practiced dentistry for 52 years. Born February 10, 1932, Dr. Marion graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. While attending high school, he worked in the dental office of his Uncle, Dr. C.R. Carnahan, after school and on weekends. This was an inspiration for him to become a Dentist. Born March 16, 1950 in Beaver Falls, he was the son of the late William Corbin and Ada Guidice Pangan. He was married to Lori Kosior for 22 years. Bill was a Veteran of the Navy, serving in Vietnam.
