Dale E. Young, 72, of Ellwood City passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 at UPMC Passavant. Born November 16, 1950 in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late Russell A. and Ruth L. Linzey Young. He was married to Theresa Prinkey Young on January 4, 1980. Dale had graduated from Lincoln High School. He worked for Koppel Steel in the Steelyard. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Born January 30, 1947 in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Irene Hazel Foreman. Cherian had graduated from Lincoln High School. She worked as a beautician and was Presbyterian by faith. She loved dancing and sewing. Her grand and great-grandchildren were her life. James L. “Butch” Buchanan, 78, of Ellwood City passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his residence. Although in ill health, death was unexpected. Born November 25, 1944 in New Castle, he was the son of the late Wendell J. and Marjorie M. Knight Buchanan. He was married to Connie Powell Buchanan. Butch retired from the Koppel B&W after 40 years of service as a crane operator. He was a member of the Wayne Township Fire Department and the Chewton Polish White Eagles. A lifelong resident of Wayne Twp., Charles was born the eldest of nine children on February 19, 1935. He was born and raised and lived his entire life on the Johns farm.
